About Us The Story of Three Amigos… It started in spring of 1999 when all three New England Winners of the Met Opera National Council Auditions, Kelly Kaduce, Barbara Quintiliani and Jossie Perez, were chosen as National Grand Winners. Present that day at the Met Opera House audience was a group from Boston which included Ernie Klein and Pauline Ho Bynum. Ernie, whose grandfather was the Director and Finance Chairman for Prague Opera, has impressario blood flowing in his veins. Pauline, who is always seeking opportunities for New England winners to sing in the Boston area, was eager to talk and dream about how to accomplish this. In the following season, a wonderful Don Giovanni was presented. Ernie and Pauline knew they had found the ideal artistic director and immediately, Ernie dubbed our team “the Three Amigos.” Board: Artistic Director:
